![]() ![]() Update 8/29/22: The TesiraForte's USB output went through a balun to an ethernet cable and then another balun to USB, and then into the laptop. We're going to try the recommended USB driver refresh and routing around the TesiraForte. I'd be grateful for any troubleshooting hints, or theory that would explain this.ĮTA: I appreciate the advice. how Vmix somehow manages to kill the USB audio input dead.Rebooting and rebooting and rebooting solved the problem, but I'm puzzled about Start Vmix, audio fine, start streaming -> no audio.Start Vmix, and a minute later, no audio. ![]() In each case, audio disappeared from Vmix and also from the Windows sound controls. Last Sunday, we noticed these additional problems, all starting with audio working to the laptop – TesiraForte visible as an input in the Windows sound controls. On an ordinary Sunday, it may require re-adding an audio input, or restarting Vmix, or rebooting the laptop, to get the audio going into Vmix successfully and out on the livestream to Facebook and Youtube. Livestreaming a church service every Sunday, we run a USB cable from a TesiraForte audio server into a USB-A port on a MSI GS75 Stealth running the current version of Vmix. TLDR: under certain, non-reproducible conditions, Vmix seems to kill USB audio input dead so that the laptop no longer sees the USB input, even outside of Vmix.
